I had the pleasure of meeting him,his wife and 3 kids,totally different to when he is on the pitch. Its hard to to keep flogging a dead horse when you know others aint pulling their weight,a good bloke and wish him and his family the best,except against us.

IMO Keating's problem is being part of a partnership with an over-bearing 6. Keating has been in Travis's shadow although the one game where Keating dominated was in the draw against Wigan - Travis had a battle royal with Green so had to leave Keating to his own devices, and I thought we saw the player that helped the Doggies get to the GF.



As for finding a replacement for Keating, its bad enough sourcing one pivot but Rovers might well be looking for three!!!

Tripe, Dobson hit the ground running, 8 tries in 14 appearances and he immediately became the focus of our attack.

I've heard your possible new half is from parramatta/ Tongan international.

The only two Pacific Islands halves I can think of from Parra are Joseph Paulo, a Samoan who represented USA in the world cup, and Api Pewhairangi, who is half Maori and half Irish and represented Ireland in the World cup.



Joseph Paulo would probably be good in the ESL. There was talk of him going to Newcastle a few weeks ago, but it came to nothing. He is a big guy who defends well and often plays in the forwards. He generally plays 5/8 when he plays in the halves, and was probably the best player for USA in the world cup, where he was allowed to be the main playmaker. Most NRL fans would say he isn't a good enough playmaker for the NRL at 5/8, and not strong enough for the forwards - but most would agree that he has a lot of skills. (now I suppose someone will point out a Tongan I've completely forgotten)
