What some fans need to do is get of twitter for a wile and get real the players we have just signed are going to be back ups when we went down it was because we did not have back up players when we got injures so we were in the s**t so this time it looks like that is what they are doing for gods sake wait till after the world cup if we have not got better players then moan

The difference being that Hull & Cas both have decent players in their squads too.

The thing is, as well, that people get so excited about the next big thing, coming through from the academy.



Most of them won't have half the career that Lee or Washbrook have had - but y'know if they work hard and avoid serious injury, then they too might be in a position to attract poop on social media in their late 20s or early 30s.

With Cas I think they have a good coach who seems to get the best out of ok players they won the league by 10pts but as a Hull fan how many of those players would you have in your first 17

A lot of the Cas squad weren't necessarily perceived as being all that good when they signed there though. It's about finding the best value in the market you can, and creating the best culture you can.

It wont be Cooper Cronk but I would expect a forward with size and experience and maybe a back with bulk. Most 'big name' overseas signings have disappointed it tends to be the unknown ones who really work.

You mean like Gavin miller he was I believe the first over seas man of steel but an unknown when he came now that is the sort we want
