However given the i wont go to your crap ground etc etc spouted by some on these forums along with a few other reasons and general venom aimed at Rovers by FC fans i can see why people are making the decision to give it a miss.

I'd be very surprised if that is the case, I've been involved in 1 or 2 testimonials in the distant past and have never come across one where the players host club have not taken a percentage of the gate money after costs have been deducted. The player never takes all of the money, if Horne has done a deal to that extent he has some very clever and shrewd people working for him.
