Near impossible to sign 10 plus quality replacements in one season with the current market, plus players under contract (Campese Lunt etc) need to be paid off or find a club to take them.

If the current situation prevails, injures to key players, players not giving it 100% etc, I cannot see past bottom spot for us. I was talking to an ex-Leeds player during the course of my work a few weeks ago and his comments were 'with such a light pack and signing injury prone players, you will struggle to stay in SL', which I couldn't argue with. What hacked me off this season is the 'denial' that recruitment was poor from our board, it was as plain as the nose on your face in 2015 we didn't have the pack in particular to trouble SL teams, yet we signed centres and wingers instead of going for much needed back row power. One positive is that I love the Lake District and will be able to make a weekend of it at away games next season.

Despite your form, I don;t think you will finish bottom (Wakey will) and there is no way you won't come straight back up, you are still too strong for the likes of Bradford and Leigh (Both who are struggling against the likes of Batley). |
