Somehow and inevitably perhaps over the subsequent generations, the double-barrelled surname has been hijacked by socially disenfranchised ethnic minorities, by the broken marriage brigade, by aspirational feminist wannabes with no taste and most worryingly by the sink estate chavs.
It's a bit like the Burberry tartan. You know it's value is undermined when you see similar on market stalls everywhere.

I can't off the top of my head.
However, I think JBF may represent a hyphenated first for Hull Kingston-Rovers. Unless we count Tangata-Toa. |

I think double-barrelled surnames with or without hyphens seem to be quite common in NZ culture, especially amongst the indigenous. Spain, Portugal and Brazil too. |

I'm afraid you appear to be the intellectual equivalent of the character the troll has created. I see now how entering any kind of discussion with you was a mistake. I sincerely hope when I go to give support to Abdul next season, I'm not surrounded by similar single celled organisms to yourself.
Personally speaking, I am thrilled that Hull FC's English contingent is so strong we can't guarantee starting places to Michaels, Tuimivave or Manu. I genuinely hope you unearth enough English talent to keep out very average quota players like Quinlan or Tilse. I won't comment on Butler-Fleming as I've not seen him play, and unlike you I prefer to offer opinions based on things other than pure fantasy. |
