It wasn't a bad stint, I agree. But there's been a revolving door since Blake green got sold. I'd like to see Hudge stop selling our best assets from now on.

I've a bad feeling this is one too many being sold for a quick buck for the detriment of the new season.

Has is performances been average because like us he knew he was going so did not give a sh++e as long has he did not injure his self

Been known for months he was going I agree only decent games were against Saints and Wigan wonder why those two.

Most Aussies are over for a paid holiday and couldn't care less about the club, but any good young player is snapped up as soon as they get any exposure, so basically Rovers are knackered unless they can somehow become a regular top-6 team, which is never going to happen when the board's only annual ambition is beating Hull.

Thought Chester wasnt picking those players leaving?

With a number 6 who is a better team player & organiser Keating may come good Early season him & burns looked like they were going to be a top pair. My personal view is that Burns is to much a loose cannon & although he has played some good games I dont think he is a team player hence some of the abissmal diaplays we have had to endure. All we need is a consistant half who plays to the team plan & can get our big pack runing into gaps the outside backs we now have will do the rest.

He was only average in his first season as well. If what you say is true what's to say he will not behave the same way at Saints having secured a three year deal which could well see him to retirement.

Disappointed that he's going, but if the fee is as reported then I can very much see why. Had a couple of decent years from him, and it's not like we paid anything for him. Roughly equivalent to selling 500 extra passes for next year.



That said, we do desperately need good replacements for him and J.Hodgson, or that gain might be wiped out by a drop in sales and next season, this year might seem like the good old days.



To lose Green, Dobson, Hodgson and Burns over 3 seasons - well I guess you can look at it as a clean slate for Chester, or the mother of all rebuilds.
