| Quote homme vaste="homme vaste"Similar to Brian Smith, just look at his CV yet when he came to Wakefield we only just escaped relegation. There are plenty of potential reasons tbh - Does Sheens have the hunger of an up and coming coach to succeed? The game is constantly evolving, he could be losing touch with the game itself?'"
Agreed. To be fair to the guy, he has had a Cracking career within Rugby League and is highly thought all across the world.....BUT, at 69 does he really want to be under pressure in this sport? or sat in Aus retired? I know what I would do.

| I'm not saying Tim is the necessarily the right man going forward but I think a lot of the fan base (myself included at times) have lost some perspective.
Two years ago he assembled a squad from nothing and won promotion at the first time of asking through a very tough middle 8 mechanism.
One year ago he successfully kept us in SL.
This year may feel underwhelming given the optimism to start the year. But to suggest he is past it or out of touch is off the mark for me. Those achievements above are big and recent and could not be achieved by someone out of touch with the game today.

Yeah, got to agree with that. I think some of the way we feel relates to stuff that predates him. We’re a bit weary of defeat and maybe irritable because of it. If he goes at season’s end he’ll do so with a lot of credit imo. It’d be diminished significantly if we go down - but to me it’d still feel like he’d undone a wrong. That 2016 relegation was just ‘wrong’ in so many ways, whereas this year we’re just a bit off the pace and a bit unlucky, and we ‘get’ that.

| We were apalling in 1st half because Addy played. We were a different side in 2nd half when Atkin played.
If Sheens fields Addy again he should be sacked.

Atkin created a bit of speed but some of his passing was woeful

| To play that bad and almost win against one of the so called ‘fancied’ teams is a huge positive to take from that game. Don’t know what’s happened to addy, he looked NRL class when he played in the WC for Scotland against the worlds best, and I really don’t think that’s going over the top to say that. Just week in week out for his club he is a bit of a donkey, the amount of times he kills the play by trying to run from DH is so frustrating.

Addy constantly trying to go from Dummy half with those 5 repeat sets against 11 men shows exactly why he should be dropped, permanently.
Atkin isn't perfect but has a better tactical brain. Addy just plays slow, dumb rugby.

I agree. Problem is we can all see he isn't or ever will be a hooker. He and Lawler covering there doesn't work and everyone but Sheens sees that. T Lee isn't much better and whilst Lunt is certainly good enough he's always injured so lo and behold Atkin gets a decent run out and plays great considering he's hardly touched a ball in anger in months.Cant fault him for BMM try as like Pauli other week they ain't stopped that close in. Mulhearn again doesn't break a tackle and looks so slender for a prop. Saying all this the effort was there and few calls didn't go our way at important moments but that's par but the loss was sealed by going in 0-12 when we should have at least been level. Few positives in Hall Drinkwater Atkin.2nd half and more minutes into the returning players. All about staying up now.

| Tim sounded really disappointed on the radio after the game today. Wire down to 11 men and to not even score...

| I see it differently being a Wire.
Wire was making good metres in the first half on the very few occasions there was ball in hand...
However fatigue from the first period of defensive 11 kicked in during a spell of the last 1/4 compounded with some sinful penalties whilst in possession.
Quite how Tim Sheen sees KR as being the better team, I don't know. Although credit for turning the screw in that period and making a cup tie out of it.
Hoping now we get you noisy black and white neighbours and stick 50 on them.
