MCdonnell different class to eden, so glad we got him,eden very good going forward but is he the worst fb in sl at defending

like i said there both great going forward but terrible in defence and if you think mcdonnel is a good defender your either very blinkered or stupid

Glad you're happy. McDee will benefit from having a far better defensive team in front of him than his time @ Rovers. His go forward was good but if I'm being honest - I'm not too upset he's been replaced by Eden, despite his shortcomings last night.



Early days of course.

I can honestly say good riddance to him, he wasn't interested in playing for us and it showed. I'll take Eden for all his inexperience. McDonnell was a waste of space and money.

CS has made some very poor signings, Eden ain't one of them!



Of course FC fans are going to say McDonell is better than Eden but its just not the case.

McDonnell will create more tries though, Eden is a fast Shaun Briscoe, but not even a tenth as good defensively.



I'll not comment on the wage thing, as neither you nor me have a clue what either is earning.

I'd say he pretty much sums it up.

Eden's not better than McDonnell Stan, and I'd have said that last year too. McDonnell is capable of being a pivot, Eden isn't. He sums up your team perfectly. Fast and able to score tries, but shocking defensively.

Hudds were not bothered about him leaving.

Agreed, Eden scored a try last night that only him and Sam Tompkins could of scored in SL because they're confident in their ability running with the ball.

But then they opted for the first refusal clause, obviously are to a degree.
