I'd hazard a guess that we were so close to beating a full strength Saints team with an injury ravaged side in what was a highly entertaining game that it was frustrating to see Saints in possession and doing their usual last gasp desperation breakaway thing. It was a high shot nobody can deny that especially after seeing it on Sky! What we can ask for clarification on is why Saints got possession. Webster didn't knock on it clearly went backwards and then forwards off your player before being gathered by Lovegrove. That I think is where the initial frustrations came from. Not forgetting your first try was dubious and could easily have been a knock on decision, will admit though hard to call at the spare of the moment.

And David Hodgson was tipped head first to the ground, lost the ball which Saints picked up and scored from a couple of plays later.

Not only was saints 1st try a possible knock on it was forward for the last pass- skys just made the knock on or not still a 50/50 call. But deffo looked forward on sky.



Didnt really see the high shot but again after seeing it on sky id say it was high- but ive also had saints friends who said thaler was our man of the match so people in glass houses n all that.

That would be a joke, yes? We haven't won at Craven Park since 2007 in the league. Why then would Saints fans be anticipating a win there now? I know me and all around me were anticipating a loss and couldn't believe it when we went 14-0 up.
