I've said a few times on this forum that i'm not nev's biggest fan, however as a SQUAD player i feel its ok, as he's on the homegrown list and will be cheap on the cap, its the fact he appears to be in the 17 every week when fit. for me he'd play when we had an injury or suspension or 4 or over the silly easter period and not a great deal else of the time. He's not the sort of player i'm chuffed about resigning unless he's going to be back up, which given that morgan is in charge isn't the case.

And there you have the ambitions of the club. If Netherton makes the 17 for the next 2 years I guarentee we will win zip.

Think he's brilliant personally - works his butt off and is someone the fans and his fellow players can rely on, win-win IMO.

Take the hyphen out of the title,and some of you will be chuffed.

Im not been funny but theres no way Rob Danby was a scapegoat, he was just crap. The most lightweight player ive ever seen play the game.

I always feel bad when I see people slate Rob. I'll have to stick up for him and say he's a lovely lad. Haven't seen him for about fifteen plus years but he is a nice guy. Very, very talented as a youngster, I played with him when we were about thirteen/fourteen, and he used to rip it up. Classic case of a lad who just didn't take it with him as he got older.

Tbf I did do it with no pre-thought or planning mate.

Jake Webster was a scapegoat 2 years before his debut? Seems reasonable, let's go with it.

If any of the people on here slaginging off Jason can play better than him put your self forward to the club if not follw the advice I am about to give, It is better to keep quiet & people think you are stupid than to open your mouth & confirm the fact, He has run his blood to water for our club it his his defensive work that has kept Rovers in games when we should have been beaten, he will never be a world beater or play International games but he is part of our team & has played a part in our resurgence as a top side. I welcome his new deal & wish him well.
