Bizarre question perhaps but as I left hull in 1983 my memory isn't what it was. Is the old decrepit school at the back of the east stand Greatfield HS? Every week it drives me barmy trying to remember....!

I always thought it was Isaac Newton ... from the odd game I played there.

It was definiteley called Greatfield high school in the 1970's and 1980's.

A lot of high schools in Hull changed their names in later years so it may well have become Isaac Newton at some point.

It was Greatfield I went there the other part has been knocked down and rebuilt I think it changed its name to Isaac Newton later on

Went there 1969 to 72 there was 3 schools all together. Issac Newton. Elizabethan and Shakespeare which combined to make greatfield high school. Great schools and great times

Isaac Newton and Elizabethan hall were the senior schools one girls one boys Shakespeare wasn't anything to do with them it was the junior school when Greatfield was the senior I went to both

you might be right about Shakespeare Frankie, but from 69 to 72 it was mixed classes for sure, I can remember the loverly looking girls lol,

I even remember the teachers ,mr gosling,mr taylor, mr bulmer, mr Dalton, etc etc, absol great days
