Good coach was Justin. Keen motivator (especially for derbies) and promotion, survival, 7th, 4th must be as good a trajectory as you could ask for. What's he up to these days? Left Canberra I think.

His kids stayed in school over here so I guess with him not been needed over in Australia it was obvious that he'd return to the area. If we have some extra funds floating about maybe we could get him into some coaching role. |

IMO, reckon he will be after a job over here, give it the first 6-10 games and coaches like millward and betts along with a few others will be looking over their shoulder.

Mostly agree - the 'getting up for the derbies' is overplayed by Hull fans though IMO. We were just as good or better than you, 2007 aside. They weren't anomalous results. Not that we haven't got comforting self-evident truths that are fictions, of our own. 
Good coach as he was, Sandercock is in charge now and doesn't need a ghost of seasons past to 'help' him. Wouldn't look great for JM's career trajectory either. |

On the 'get it up for the derby' meter.
Last season's collective efforts probably = Limp Richard
and overall JM's efforts = Max Johnson
That said, the more JM was in/around Rovers, the more likely potential friction/rumours/problems would develop with CS' position.
The levels of poor trolling on here would also become dangerously high. Without Matty, I doubt the current incumbents could handle the situation.
I reckon JM will probably spend a lot of time @ Sky/BBC. |
