ive just had a text to say that Mike Smiths in talks with both Anthony Watmough AND Krisnan Inu. can't see it my self but you heard it here first just in case

Started by fc steward last night and continued by jake on the fc rumour thread,so what do you think? Dont hold your breath.

His name was mentioned last week, I alluded to the fact that he is known by some of his fans as the smiling assassin.

I'd be astounded if either of those was true, Mike will more likely come back with Krisnan Watmough and Anthony Inu

I mentioned the inu rumour we are definately pursuing him but doing that and getting him are 2 different things

inu has been dumped into the reserves hasn't he? Maybe in with a chance.

Not really. He was injured for the first 5 rounds of the season, which coincided with bulldogs starting on fire. Hauler being a good coach kept his winning formula so Inu had to be patient. He back in the team around the first origin game I think (round 10 ish) and has played 6 of the last 8 since, and has been named in the 19 for next weeks match.

Going to West Tigers so its irrelevant whether he is now only a 'reserve grade player'.

Whatmough is contracted to Manly next year £600,000 for the season so he won't be coming

Not confirmed yet (hope he doesn't go, bulldogs are my Aussie team) - either way, it's extremely unlikely he (or watmough for reasons just mentioned) are going to end up in SL next year...
