Is there any mention as to whether there will be regular updates for rosters & kits which can be downloaded?

I doubt they will going off past releases, although I hope they do some sort of patch because something needs to be done about intercepts etc.



i'm yet to win a game, and 90% of trys conceded are either interception trys or from a bomb, just like RLL it's very difficult to catch a bomb in goal, its even harder in this one. also the defending buttons are very hap hazard, LT is supposed to find the nearest defender, It doesn't really work like that, and pressing LB and RB to swicth between players makes it hard to do it quick enough.



hmmm it seems to have fixed some problems but just added others. It literally is a complete rebuild though.



One positive are the menu's etc, they look a lot slicker and also have some pretty good music.

Now received my copy of the game, definite improvement on the previous title but there are still some problems which stop the game from being perfect.



- Not many international teams, makes you wonder if they're keeping their powder dry for next years RLWC so they can release another title



- No mention if kit / roster updates will be available for download, which are needed seeing the game has yet again been released at the end of a season so these are out of date already



- You can't sell players or release them before their contracts end on career mode



- Every players shirt number changes for some reason once you have finised one season on career mode, so for example I had Pat Richards with number 7 on his back



- League fixtures are in the same order every season, so fixtures need to be randomised



- There's no opportunity to move clubs in career mode, this could be easily done for example you could receive job offers in the close season



Hopefully issues such as this can be fixed in any update made available as a few tweaks and this could be an excellent game.



The game is fun to play and challenging too, I found Amateur level far too easy as your player busts tackles virtually every time. Just switching up one level to Rookie is making the game a test to win matches.

Shame you can't release players early but im just grateful you can do it at all after the restrictions on the past game.



Can you sign players at any point?

No. At the end of each season it shows you which players in your squad are out of contract to allow you to either retain or release them. Also, it shows you which other players are out of contract. This list can be sorted using options such as age, contract value, position.

I notice Paul Sykes is listed as a centre, are you able to play somebody in a position different to their default one?

ie will the game let you play Sykes as a SO rather than a centre?

Yes, it will. Positions seem kind of irrelevant when you're in a match. Jeff Lima for example, spends most games for me playing right centre. They do have 'preferred positions' though, and SO isn't one of Sykes'...
