I had concerns about matching Hunslet in the forwards but I shouldn't have worried, the forwards did an excellent job today.



The second half performance from the whole team, after playing a man short for ten minutes at the end at the first half, was very heartening.



We'll need to reduce the error count next week against Oldham but other than that, very happy right now.



The sin binning of Matty Beharrell was quite frankly a joke!

Actually an apology by the ref would be more like justice!

Whist the match review panel can refer incidents for potential disciplinary action, as it was only a sin bin and a ridiculously harsh one at that, I don't expect anything more on the issue.

Boy did the ref take some stick for that sinbinning ...so much so he stopped and looked to where the tirade was coming from.

He just laughed ... there was no abuse though.

When I saw we had started well and were behind I thought that was typical of our visits to Hunslet and feared the worst. So was great to see the tries come in in the second half.
