While i think Wilko is developing each week, you dont want to burn the young lad out. Hodson has scored some tries since returning, but as S/O stated Dewsbury are a big physical side and with the narrow pitch it seems Cookey has gone for more strength than speed.

I think my previous post was misundrstood, I think Wilko and Tom have both played well, and Cookie as commented about Dewsburys tight pitch previously, Miller is playing today so I suppose Wilko will feel unlucky to lose his place, however he still makes some mistakes which you expect from a youngster, and the only way you learn is from playing, my concern is as a club can we afford to have a squad big enough to bring through promising youngsters if we don't pay them contract money and only win or appearance money.

Well we haven't got the resources, like most clubs.

We can't keep anybody, like most clubs.

But Wilko has had every chance to develop and is doing so.

He could develop into something special, but then might leave.

Why worry?

Just got back from the rams.why did we pick miller clearly not interested,as the saying goes if it's no broken don't fix it? Hope russ is ok after the cheap shot.this did did rams loads of good cause they were knackered.

I was just about to ask how Miller went on I would have stuck with Wilko.

Not a game to experiment in, should have saved that for a home game.

If he was useless, I hope Cooke ships him back out sharpish.

Miller was poor kicking & passing, didn't seem interested !



Dewsbury were better than us Thackery was outstanding as was Morton.We did have 2 tries disallowed . All in all a bad day at the office.

Russ Spiers was sat in the dug out by the end of the game, incident was put on report.
