What a difference Howden made against Hunslet along with Cross who put some good passes out to his centres/wings.



We have to sort out the ********** out , we cannot let Toulouse have as much ball as we did Hunslet who we should have beat by a greater margin .



There were a lot of positives so may be we can push them (Toulouse) all the way.

The Dons need 7 points from their last 5 games to mathmatically be guaranteed a top five finish.



That will be reduced to 5 points if Hunslet fail to beat Toulouse. It will be reduced further if Hunslet don't win away to Barrow and away to York. I would imagine two wins in our remaining games will be good enough for a play-off place.



Unless we can overhaul Rochdale and Barrow, it looks like an away trip to one of those two in the play-off semi-final. Rochdale need 4 points from their 4 remaining games to be assured of being in front of us. We've more chance of catching Barrow but they seem to have hit a good run of form at the moment.

I really fancied York today but Barrow are hitting form at the right time. I can't see them dropping any points until they face Toulouse tho' the Hornets still look favourites for second place.

I wonder if York were still feeling the effects of last weekend's game against Toulouse? Even though Barrow turned us over last week, I was still surprised to see them beat York by 14 points.



We've played five games against teams in the top five this season, winning one and losing four. We need to prove that not only can we be competitive against these sides, we need to start to prove we're able to beat them.

Could get a good crowd with possibly some old supporters turning up

Mind you it depends on how you define old

well, for the first time in a long long time Im actually looking forward to a game, after the last result there is a tiny spark of hope in my heart. this will be by far our biggest test in a pretty dire (fixture wise) season if we can field the same side as last friday and they are 100% fit then who knows. The team /coach and management have had some flack this season (most of it justified) so this week lets put on a good display try and convince the last few loyal fans that we can play some rugby and maybe a few of the disheartened fans may bring themselves back into the fold.
