Wakey and Cadtleford were waiting on new grounds, Featherstone improved their own ground. Remains to be seen what Wakefield will actually do (been making promises for years!), I don't know if construction of Cas' new home has started. |

Yes same council but Fev took it on themselves to improve their ground off their own back.

Obviously as Fev fan I'm biased but it's easy to understand Mark Campbell's frustrations. His team finished top of the Championship table four years running at a time when there was no promotion/relegation, and he's literally rebuilt the ground with his own hands and those of the fantastic Stand Gang volunteers (mostly pensioners)...meanwhile the two other local clubs have had uninterrupted handouts from Sky of £1.8m or whatever it is year after year yet have achieved nothing in improving their delapidated stadiums. |

like I say, they were promised new stadiums. Featherstone wouldm't survive in SL. |
