The letters are all on Angus Young's Twitter, so assume they are copies that have been released to the media? They're also on the City forum Not606 which is a much more rational place since the scales fell from their eyes. One of the most balanced posters is dear old Chugger boy, banned from here when we exposed Allam for what he was 2 years ago, Lambrettaman didn't like what he read then. So if they undertake work to limit the use of the arena for community groups (work which the council already know has started), they will tell the premier league that city don;t meet their requirements? What about taking legal action for the breach of contract between the SMC and Hull CC? Another meaningless threat from the council meaning they'll do nothing about the fundamental issue here

Thanks everyone we now await the Councils response, Stevenson is a good Chief Executive and a good solicitor too, he tried to take a balanced view at first when the politicians first involved him but he's now seen their true colours too, judging by the last line of the Premier League statement the City people are lying through their teeth.If Allam gets away with this will we be next when we do something that doesn't fit into his plans? Incidentally Humberside reporting that there is a protest going on out side the Arena tonight!

From Angus Young. He is the man on the inside at hcc. I would say it is a strategic leak, or an FOI request that has been efficiently dealt with. |

Makes more sense, though, seemed surreal that the Allams would want these in the public eye. Really exposes them for what their game is - so damning the petulance and unreasonableness on the one side and the logic and reason on the other. Hope they are getting reproduced over and over on social media - do the job very nicely, no more needs to be added. |
