the only black mark on his time here was his sending off against Cas...but given the dreadful refereeing display (the worst I have seen in my time watching RL) I could understand why his frustration boiled over.

Long HAS been a great player in the past but not at Hull FC. No embarassment in admitting that. Youve got to remember that he was signed as a key player playing in an important position but apart from from a couple of good games in two years he's either been injured or distinctly average, hence the apathy.

Totally agree. I didn't agree with his signing because of the obvious age/injury concerns but his influence/commitment/intentions could never be doubted.



He's been the best British SH that I've seen since Andy Gregory and it's a real shame that it didn't work out(especially for us fans yet again)
