Sorry to hear of some unpleasantries from the stewards. I'd encourage you all to make a group / individual complaints, it did seem particularly silly that they wouldn't open the corners of the stand when so many bought tickets. Hopefully they'll get their act together before next season. Hope you all enjoyed your day regardless.

What was the attendance all about? We usually get 3600 with less than 100 away fans. Now we actually get a big following from the away team and the attendance is worse than our championship games. Turnout from people in the south stand was very dissapointing.

Considering every time we went the kc when we were in superleague the coaches got stoned by hull fans i dont blame them for being cautious. Although i have to say the travelling fans today were superb. Great bunch. And i agree it was a bit of a joke closing off them seats i would be annoyed myself. Was chuffed with the widnes effort today and hope you enjoyed your visit. Good luck for rest of the season

To be fair, the guy sat directly behind me, should have been thrown out after 5 mins, so I'm not sure about all this aggressive stewarding. He didnt turn upn after h-t, he had a son with him, beer in hand, must have been 12ish. The guy was warned after about 20 mins, presume he got kicked out at h-t. I think the stewards gave him every chance. What chance has the son got in life.

When you have an unreserved stand. You have to leave 10% of seats spare. Just like we had to for derby's at KC. So surely they have broken the rules

If anyone has any issues about conjestion, seating, sitting on the grass or stewarding etc. if you send them to FC Voices they will collate them and send them in one 'generic' E Mail to the home club. It won't solve the problems from yesterday but might flag them up 'officially' for Widnes so that they can address them for future matches. The E mail address is FCVoices@hullfc.com

Was plenty of spare seats dotted about and stewards down the front indicating to people where they were

We didn't really have a problem yesterday. A few people mentioned the stewards being over zealous but to be honest I watched the game rather than the crowd.

Good following from the faithful again and we were in good voice as usual.

The only reason the stewards went into the Widnes section was because a couple of fans from our group sent them there because your fans were making obscene gestures to our fans, normally this would have been ignored and seen as a bit of banter but because of the actions of the stewards towards our fans, who were not doing anything wrong apart from getting a bit heated at a decision to award a try which a few fans thought was short, this led to our fans complaining to the steward to be consistant in their actions towards the fans.



I can understand if fans were been threatening or doing anything out of order but every fan in the stadium were there to enjoy the game and only got wound up by the actions of the stewards, this snowballed into them having to work alot harder than they should have had to. If they keep that up next season in SL, I can see them starting trouble for themselfs with some teams and losing away fans who will refuse to be treated in such a way.

Surely they're the same stewards who are doing the saints games?

Can't disagree gaz - one of the ones gesturing was just in front of us - he was giving your lot the v's every time his brain cell woke up.



Just goes to show though - Hull fans are grasses

Can't be sure but I expect so - the club doesn't employ them, the council does and as Saints play in the same council ground, well, do the math.



Just don't tell voodooroo it's a council ground, he's a bit snobby like that - he deffo won't come next year
