). Generally speaking our club has been a laughing stock for as long as I can remember. Our crowds are poor as we're not a rugby league hotbed like Wigan, Hull etc and we've done well to stay at the top table of RL for so long with all the obstacles we've faced as a club. If we're going to mock Salford for their perceived underachievement surely FC should be ridiculed for their lack of success over the past 30 years (a couple of CC's apart)? Oh & on the Simms issue, again you're probably correct, however, there's also a portly moustachioed fella currently on your payroll who almost destroyed our club over his 4 years in charge. One final point I'd like to make is that, from reading your forum the last few days, it seems like a large portion of your fanbase have massive delusions of grandeur! For all your strengths as a club (attendances, stadium etc) you're way below bracketing yourselves with the likes of Wigan, Saints & Leeds. Top 6 aspirations yes but don't get ahead of yourselves & give it the big 'i am'. BTW, I've nothing against Hull FC but think there's some unjustified arrogance being shown by some of your fans. Anyways, good luck for the season & hopefully we'll prove Friday wasn't a fluke & run you close up at the KC.

Lets be honest here Briscoe has always been suspect in defence but that does not make him a poor player but he has never been a stopper ever. apart from one tackle or so that stands out.. I dont know the kid but have been to a few of the player / fans things and with my young son stood for the usual autographs etc and have seen a shift in his manner and aproachability that is certain... someone said on a different thread maybe he is starting to believe his own hype which may well be true...

out of the two sharpe has been by far the better winger so far and Briscoe for an international needs a rocket up his harris hole as i see it because we havent had anywhere near value for money from him yet this season or friendlies IMO

we would of scored 2 more tries on friday imo if yeamo had shifted the ball to briscoe 2 breaks were he went on his own wen he had the support brsicoe is not the problem at all he needs the ball to score tries cant do it himself

thats very true his defense has been very suspect which is unusual tbh but no one can doubt his attacking ability and every1 knows yeamo should pass it alot more and we would go in alot more see it every week we have a man over and he tries driving it in it gets really frustrating for the fans i wonder how briscoe feels
