I don't see that it matters in this context. He's not in the squad for said game, and all he's said is that he is not injured. That isn't even actually the same thing as saying he's fit to play, if you want to nitpick.



Had Harry Tyson-Wilson done similar, barely anybody would have noticed, and I highly doubt that you would have hinted at him being unprofessional. The differentiating factor is only that some people think Naughton should be in the squad ahead of certain others, but that's not a reason to try and attribute some blame to Naughton. From what I've seen, he's done nothing wrong IMO.

See my earlier post. This is someone putting their own spin on a statement. To me it says that he is not part of LR's plans for this game.

If you see the Twitter message and read it in the full context, it comes across as a very positive message, rather than having a go at the club.

Didn't Sneyd go off after about 5 mins against Huddersfield and come back on almost straight away? Possibly got an injection, but maybe it's a fresh injury concern and he won't be fit? Seems fair enough to leave Salford expecting Sneyd's bombs to be the main kick threat and to practice defence and attack from them all week, to then throw a spanner in by playing Rankin instead?

Sneyd's injury before the Huddersfield game was ankle. He came off during that match with a hamstring problem.

Maybe not quite ready yet, or maybe simply LR's incompetence.
