Well it's National news now so it will get investigated by the RFL I am sure, on the Leeds board there is a link to a well know video site that is suppose to show it.
Interested to see what happens here.

It's pathetic, if it was a Wigan player who had done that they would be going nuts, same with lots defending Ablett for his kick to the head. |

I'd hope he gets a stiff penalty for the homophobia. Nastiness like that has no place in society. Rugby League was the first sport to be given a Stonewall award so I can see this being taken very seriously.
Just speaking to a referee carries a significant penalty in itself. Our sport has prided itself in the respect the players show match officials and a light penalty would send a terrible message.
I know it's meaningless where certain teams are concerned but the RFL guidelines suggest that "Foul and abusive language towards a Match Official" is a category D offence (3-5 matches) and "Verbal abuse based on race, colour, religion, gender, sexual preference, national or ethnic origin" is category E-F (4-8+).
