Kearney didn't do well with Parramatta, but then their squad was dreadful. At least with him he would instil some pride and passion and would do it without shouting at players or sending them to Doncaster for being naughty.



I also think he would come if we offered him the right money. He has been in the New Zealand set up for long time now, afaik he enjoyed his time here, and is mates with Motu.



If he is allowed to bring in the back room staff he wants then it could be successful imo.

I am amazed that AP has positioned himself in such a way that he is finding it difficult to remove Lee. When he appointed him he should have been less vocal in his support and worked on the basis that this is a risk and we shall see how it works.



I have thought a lot about why Gentle was removed and although we had some poor performances I felt we were gradually heading in the right direction. All I can think is the collective of Gentle, McRae and Howes really got under the skin of AP. He likely felt he had been taken for a ride with some of the players signed and the contracts given. Was that Gentle's fault or was he more a hostage to the fact McRae was DOR and had final say.
