Just seen a Wakey fan on Twitter saying Chester must go if they don't beat us, in response to our squad announcement.

Chester is getting a lot of stick this past month. Hard to defend two heavy billing defeats even despite missing the 11,12 players for both.





To be fair I can’t think of a more unlucky coach. We have had a horrendous injury crisis most of 2019 and it’s just continued into 2020. That’s the only thing saving him imo.



Still his record isn’t great and something needs to change soon.

We'll beat Wakefield so your pessimism is somewhat wasted, AP does need to act no matter what, we can't go forward as a club with Last in charge, it simply isn't going to work, some senior players need to be let go as well, not kept on for nice fat contracts for another year or so based on who you used to be/being friends.

Very even game IMO, probably the hardest game to pick to far as both teams have had a lot of adversity, players unavailable and are out of form.



I’m looking forward to it (Might not be saying that by halftime) hopefully see some of the fringe and young players and hope they can step up.



Biggest worry for me is the centres, Lyne and Tupou are big strong players and it would be tough for Scott and Fonua.

Wise decision targeting the cup because the new points percentage system pretty much makes it mathematically impossible to get in the top 4.

Just been announced Wakey have lost another player with now 9 stood down and 2 staff members due to Covid for Hull game.



That’s not including the injured players. We are down to bare bones now and 2 young players Bailey and Aydin are now given their SL debut through necessity.



Hard to see anything but a win for Hull. It just keeps nosediving for the trinity. Probably doesn’t help that the whole club has just come out of isolation and been unable to train until the start of this week either.

Reading between the lines (well, the HDM) it sounds likes Jones could well have been suffering from coronavirus, as he has only recently returned to the training ground, but could be fit for the cup game.
