Let's put this Luke Gale play acting to bed shall we. Gale was knocked out and failed the concussion test and was unable to return. Leaving us with no goal kicker. It did not benefit us having Gale off the field. It wasn't the worst tackle you'll see but he got a 2 game ban on top of his red. He obviously has major issues with discipline. The majority of players won't get sent off 4 times in their 15 year career let alone 4 times in 11 months.

McShane didn't seem bothered when he charged in and kneed Gale in the bonce.

How come it was widely reported that Gale failed a head test 24 hours before playing Wigan 6 days later.

If true, he would never have been allowed to play against Wigan, making me wonder why Gale didn't return in the Hull game.

watts was stupid and will rightly cop a ban but crosby wasn't hurt at all whereas faurimo was knocked clean out, has suffered a brain injury and will miss at least a week of rugby. I'll bet that watts gets a longer ban than patton though

It doesn't excuse Watts I know, but if Thaler had been on top of his job and penalised Crosby like he should have done for interfering with Watt's and not allowing him to play the ball, there wouldn't have a problem.

As pointed out, Gale played within 6 days and hence did not fail the concussion test.

Watts is a good player but is sadly as thick as thuk

If he ever wants to progress his career and to be an International player then he urgently needs to engage his brain otherwise he will always be remembered as Numb Nuts

It was stupid , but no way as bad as the patton sending off, the game had stopped and he took a cheap shot in frustration when hed just relaxed. Like jake said watts will probably get the bigger ban. And agree with watts , that was no headbutt, he bumped his head into crosby with no real intent to cause damage , didnt affect crosby at all
