Our team is so ridiculously inconsistent that they will probably beat Wire on Sunday.



We will then all troop off to Wembley on 24 August and watch the team lose to Wigan (again).



Cue a reprise of "You'll never win at Wembley" from the Dobbins (conveniently ignoring the fact that they haven't been there for nearly 30 years and haven't been to the existing stadium at all)



Maybe it would be best if Wire just put us out of our misery on Sunday.

Don't know why we bothered entering the cup competition really. Or SL for that matter. Maybe we should have had the year off.

May as well stop at home then

I know it seems downbeat but I have watched Hull FC in many semi-finals and several finals over the past 30 years and don't think I've ever been less optimisitic than I am at the moment.



Of course I will go to Wembley if we get there just because its a great day out but will travel more in hope than expectation.

The main thing on Sunday is trying to control Warrington's offload as all their good work comes off the back of a offload which inevitably leads to a quick PTB the next play and the last thing we want is Higham, Monaghan and Ratchford getting at a defensive line which isn't set.



Our kicking game should simply be kick it dead every single time IMO to hopefully make the game painfully slow and make them need to go 80 metres to score.

We've beat them before, we can do it again.



I'm 50/50 regarding the result but i hope we can do it. As people said, we are the underdogs. No pressure on us so let's just go out play our game and enjoy the occasion.

I would just like to see a bit of enthusiasm and for us to not look knackered after the first 5 minutes! IF we could actually work on our attack in training it would be nice. So sick of inside ball to ONE runner running straight into the markers. We need to be giving the halves plenty of options off the ball and stop Warrington playing their fast expansive game by hitting them hard.



Could John Kear drop in with a motivational speech? I know we need more than motivation, right now.....probably a miracle!

We have a great chance on Sunday and I have been quietly looking forward with my " WEMBLEY FEELING " since this season started. We have a very good record in semi's overall as a club and certainly since 2000 which was the last time we lost a CC semi. I do think we have the personel to do a job and Wire are beatable, we have proved that already this season. We need to get behind them and keep it up for 80 minutes and let the players know we are the 18th man.



What ever happens we must ensure that every fan keeps his cool and we can improve our good name further by our actions as fans towards Wire fans. Our friends from across the river have a flare for problems at Wire last Sunday, we need to demonstrate to them and the rest of RL that we as a club have now changed for the better.

Tbh i'd like to see how we play when chasing the game..



I'd say in 4 of the last 5 matches we've always scored first then gone to pop. Could we have a turn in fortune should we go behind (Except 1st Catalan Away Game)
