Can't see chase coming and why would we shell out for clarke when we have heremia and at least 2 good prospects at hooker in the u18's/u20's?

Also wouldnt want heremaia as 1st choice halfback

(imho) I think that if Chase was not coming to FC, then it would have been announced by now.

The period of extended negotiations has well past, and nothing is said.



If it had been bad news, then I would think the club would want to get it out of the way as soon as possible.



My opinion would be that he has already signed, or that the club think the chances are good to still be in negotiations.

If it's anything like his fullback positioning, he probably doesn't know.

Think they'd only announce that Chase wasn't coming once they'd sorted a replacement. No point in giving out bad news on it's own.



My reading of the various rumours/statements is that we may be playing chicken with Cas while sorting an alternative. Hope it's settled one way or the other soon - getting fed up of the whole circus TBH.

I'd love chase to come but the club shouldn't pay over the odds. Rome wasn't built in a day and I don't expect all of our problems to be resolved in one close season so maybe we'd be better waiting it out.

All I can say is Tommy Lee is not signing for FC. But is however in talks with our red and white neighbours as well as another club so I'm led to beleive.

We won't be signing Daryl Clarke. He's a good player but isn't needed at the club. We already have Houghton and Heremaia as our first choice hookers, plus James Cunningham.

I imagine that we'll see James Cunningham going out on a dual-registration contract for a lot of next season to give him some more experience at a higher level.

Well according to the dobbins fans, holdsworth is rubbish so christ knows what they'll think if tommy lee signs for them
