That is now the 7th time this season we have not managed to score in a half (and twice in a week). I'm going to nominate this one as comfortably the most embarrassing, with it being against emphatically the worst defence in SL (more than 250 points or 50% more conceded than the nearest competitor). In fact the actual maths of it are that Wakey average more than 20 points conceded per 40 minutes, and we managed 0 in 60.



Now there can be all sorts of mitigating factors, but I'm finding it hard not to accept that that is simply a damning but fair statistic that merely brings home the cold, hard truth of just how abysmal our attack is.

I counted 7 (seven) attempted tackles and still he scored.

The fact you are coming out with this is a massive surprise. You have backed Radford in most things, but the tone of your posts tonight suggest you are really struggling to find anything left to be positive about.

If Pearson or Radford see anything other then as a club we are well and truly up Papp creek without a paddle.



Wakefield were so poor but Radford and his charges still found a way of throwing away a win yet again with the same mistakes and the vast majority unforced so to say there was effort is an insult. I would put that display after the first 20mins as one of the worst ever by a professional Hull FC side and these are totally unacceptable.



Perhaps Radford should actually listen to his own interviews as he already sounded beaten before the game which is indicative of the teams performances and I believe is a reason he never seems to have players mentally prepared.

Not trolling here but apart from the first 16 minutes how were Wakefield really poor last night?



If you want to include 12 of the last 16 games prior to this I'd agree that Wakefield have been awful bu not last night when they were good in both attack and defence and won the game on merit!

I was horrified when I heard him say in his post-match interview 'I thought that if we won it would only be by 1 or 2 points.' was that really the level of hope/expectancy we had going into that game?

If thats the sort of belief he has in his own team and the level expected of the players then there is little wonder we're in the state we are.
