To have a thread entitled 'Proud', after losing a lead to 12 men is an embarrassment to Hull FC IMO.

People can slate me all they like, sticks and stones and all that!!





I'm certainly not going to apologise for preferring to look at the positives instead of dwelling on the negatives. I have a Grandad very ill in hospital and the threat of redundancy hanging over me so any positives right now I'm grabbing on to lol!

We might look in better shape than we have earlier this season, but that's not a particularly good yardstick to use, IMO. Do we look any better than we did last season when we finished 6th? Do we look like we can realistically improve on that position this year?



I agree that a new coach won't fix it up overnight, but the longer it takes to install a new man, the longer it will take until we start to turn things around and start to become serious contenders. You see, I'm not happy for a club of our standing to just 'compete' in every game. I want us to win most of them as well.

Don't contribute then.

So do I but so do Wigan, Saints, Leeds, Wire, Rovers, Hudds and others. We have no god given right to be winning most of our games, I think Hull fans have an overinflated opinion of where we should be.



I am happy we are improving andf whilst I still want a new coach from next season I think Agar will have us challenging for the top 6 which is realistically where we are abouts right now with Hudds and Rovers.

I don't need your permission to feel proud of a team that ran their blood to water, thanks. I don't spin anything. I've written to the League Express and been on RH and have been clear that Agar won't win us silverware IMO. I therefore find your suggestion that I'm a blinkered club apologist ridiculous. I say what I see. I put the effort in today to go to Wigan and support my team despite our horrendous record there and uninspiring start to the season. I saw a highly motivated team take the fight to the champions on their own muck and come within a whisker of a point. I saw the effort with my own eyes and felt the team had repaid the effort I had made to go and watch them. So I felt proud today. Deal with it. We need back it up with wins for sure. If not I'll be back on my soapbox.

Cant believe you lost that to be honest. We blew so many chances and handed the game to you on a plate. Thought your defence was good though, the best I have seen us play against so far this season.

No. With our off the field structure and the fact that we have the full cap available, we should be competing on a level playing field with the top sides. I accept that we're not at that level, but there's absolutely no good reason we shouldn't be.

Well said. The reaction to the last two games are a sad indictment of where the current regime has taken us. Relief against Crusaders and "pride" in defeat against 12 men. There is daylight between Hull and 6 other clubs now. This is Agar's team, the team employ Agar's tactics....we are going nowhere. The man is out of his depth.
