It's arrogance and presumption to assume we'll be in the top 5. 10 points up for grabs still and we have an awful points difference. Of course I hope we'll make it but it's far from secure.

I’m not sure it’s arrogance, saints aside, we shouldn’t fear anyone with a fit squad. Agree with your earlier post, I think if we’d of had 2 of the 4 players available for the Wigan game, would of made a big difference to our pack and probably won us the game. Paea and manu a big loss

One thing's for sure, whatever the quality, this season has been a success from a competition perspective (apart from Saints battering everyone). 5 rounds to go and there are still 6 (arguably 7) in competition for the top 5, and 5 in the mix for relegation.

On paper looks a good comp, but look at that tonight, 44-0 or whatever it was, that’s not entertaining, but makes the league table look competitive, been to much of that this season

I agree. Got in at half time of last night's game. Switched it on, saw the score and switched straight off again.



There's no fun in watching games as a neutral that are lopsided like that.

Yet the previous round Huddersfield v Rovers in similar league positions was very tightly contested with an exciting finish. Every round will have close games like ours and mismatches on the night.

They've got to learn to catch and pass first!

Beginning to come round to your opinion of Jamie Shaul at Full back.

Still think he would make a good 9.

He does the job occasionally anyway at acting half.Could develop into a real game changer in that position with his pace off the mark.

If we have this big tough pack next season he doesnt have to be a tackle machine like Houghton.

I like Connor at right centre but move him to full back would solve the Centre problem we will have next season

Agree Shaul is holding you guys back, very one dimensional and easy to defend against. All the good attacking teams nowadays have the half back playing fullback, setting up wingers for fun. Tomkins, Ratchford, Coote, Hardaker etc, even Luke Dorn back in the day.



Your two monsters on the wing would have a field day with better service, give them early ball and one on ones against opposing wingers.



Shaul obviously has talent, not saying hes a bad player, would be a super league club, lower end though. Not on with trophy winning ambitions like FC.



Id stick Jake Connor at full back, what a player he is. Just need him on the ball, in space, as much as poss!
