| This is ridiculous. There is no such thing as not being bothered about a game. I hope the coaching staff and playing squad don't carry the same attitude. We need to win as going into the cup final with the momentum of three wins in a row would be great and the grand final is still on the horizon if we keep in good form.

| If the coaching staff shared some people's concerns about injuries then perhaps the squad should avoid any training involving tacking or sprinting between now and Wembley.
I expect PG to field the Widnes team against Rovers to maintain confidence and a winning mentality which we will need if we are to beat the Pies.
Yes we need DJ and Milky to be fit but we also need them to continue to develop a partnership as so far they've only played together twice.

| Not bothered about the derby??. Really??. I expect Pearson and gentle will be expecting full blooded commitment and go all out for the win, as should every fan. Personally I'll be gutted if we lose on Sunday. Go in half hearted, risk injures imo. Wembley is the big one but come Sunday it will be last thing on my mind.

| Need to go into every game like your job depended on it, irrespective of who or where you are playing.
Personally I think the tougher the games the better type of preparation for the final.

Could I perhaps explain what I have known to be a darby for most of my last 80+years. It's a plastering tool we used to use in the old days, from way back, when lath and plaster wall's and ceilings HAD to have the backing coat finished straight. Like a wooden float, but 4feet long, 4-5 inches wide, and 3/4 inch thick, with a handle near each end. I served a 6 year indentured apprenticeship in the 40's and 50's, and used one many a time until quite recently, although the one I have now is made of alloy. Most of these self styled "craftsmen" nowadays wouldnt know how to use one.

Thanks for that. Until I looked it up on Wicki, I didn't have a clue what it was although I had heard the word "darby" before.
Lets hope we treat this Sunday as a "darby" and give the dobbins a good plastering!!

Who would you drop for him? I wouldn't rush him back as there's no need to. Shaul had a good game at fullback, DJ and Miller are working well together in the halves and look set to be our first choice half back pairing next season. He'll get his chance when injuries occur.
