| Quote Mrs Barista="Mrs Barista"True. At the same point in their careers that Powell was getting Leeds RU relegated in his first season in charge Radford had won back to back Challenge Cups.
I also think it's a fallacy that Radford inherited a very good side. We started 2014 with Crookes, Crooks, Miller, Tuson, Whiting, Arundel in our 1-17. Radford replaced these with Fonua, Tuimavave, Sneyd, Manu, Minichiello and Connor.
I also think it's untrue that we are a dull side to watch in terms of attack. With the personnel Radford has recruited in the pivots I actually think we overplay at times. Some of our centreplay this year with Carlos, Connor and Griffin has caused oppositions problems and been great to watch.
I agree with the view that Powell is a very good coach - so he should be 19 years of experience one way or another. But the reality is Radford's delivered more in 5 years, so this should not be dismissed so readily.'"
Radford signed Tuson

| TBF it was Bombed Out and bonaire navigating the conversation towards Powell, I was just responding with some different perspective.
Stats don't make great reading all round but another 100m+ shift from Josh Griffin.

Same with Toronto. Basically every home game is a beer festival yet there doesn't appear to be any bother. No heads screaming abuse, no aggression or fighting in the stands, nobody spoiling the occasion for others.

If only we could go to the Kcom expecting to see games like this. The best I've seen in a long time.

| yes,the kcom stadium rarely delivers exciting games with great atmosphere.few away supporters bother coming, most away teams do come pumped up,unfortunatly hull players dont seem to like playing at home for whatever reason.after 7 home games this season the only times that hull have looked interested have been 20 mins against leeds and the second half against rovers.the rest has been average to rubbish

I didn't think we'd win but couldn't compromise myself by backing Catalans.
I'd feel treacherous.
Stupid but true.
See the bookies have us as early favourites to beat Cas. Hope their right this time.

| after the latest debacle last Friday, are the club and the players taking fans for granted?we keep hearing that the players dont like playing at home, ive watched hull play at the boulevard from the mid 60s and there were some poor fc teams inthose years and some great ones, but I never heard any player say he didn't like playing at home.anyone who has bought a season pass in the last 3 years has been short changed.even in 2017 when we retained the cup, there were some shocking home perfornaces.same with pearson, did he look at how many season passes were flying out the door in the close season and think why buy a marquee player and really strengthen if we are all buying passes anyway.ive been a season pass holder for nearly 30 years, but I find myself thinking shall I pick and choose my games next season and not bother with a pass.

If you have been a passholder for 30 years you will have seen much, much worst times than this. OK the last two seasons haven't been grest, but we haven't nearly gone bust or faced relegation.
There has been some bad performances, but also lots of positives at the club at the moment. I think we are only 3/4 players off competing again, which we couldn't say that it the past.
it's hard to be consistent these days due to injuries and the salary cap.
