I only say about the decision cos I was sat right next to the hull dugout and in front of where the kick was, Houghton (?) was pretty upset about it and didn''t want to listen at all. Can't blame him, you were looking dangerous on our line.

I'd be more worried about Rule's post match interview, than Agar's. When he was asked if Agar's position had even been discussed by the board he responded with with a very stern, very abrupt "no".
So abrupt, in fact, that I thought I'd misheard and the interviewer had actually asked if he could suck James' mam's tits.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, he's hardly going to say yes is he? I know what you mean about how definitive he sounded, but his own credibility is so intertwined with Agar now that I think it was more of a personal response. Hopefully it will be taken out of his hands (if it's in his hands to begin with). |

Maybe if one of our supporters should win the 'European lottery' this Friday and decide to invest of little bit of their winnings in the club and gain a voice, then things might change and James Rule might have to give a different answer.

I was talking about this scenario to a mate the other night, I wouldn't even bother with the usual niceties that happen when a coach gets sacked:
'It is with great pleasure that Hull FC announce the immediate termination of Head Coach Richard Agar's contract'
James Rule could stay on the proviso that he has no further input into the on-field side of the club.

Whereas those that went to the match seem pleased with the performance but understandably disappointed with the result.
