When Sean Long was 20, Wigan shipped him out to Widnes, not thinking he was good enough. Miller could become a top halfback, or he could be just as average as all the veterans we've signed in the past. At least he has the potential to get better! My only issue with him so far is his dodgy defense - which is a little scary when we have Ben Crooks in the same side. Both are young enough to work on their techniques though.

I was not keen on him at all & still hoping he proves me wrong, i cant believe FC could'nt find a player in the lower leagues who can play a bit, half decent defender who could blossom in full time environment, still think he will be targeted in defence by other teams.

That was a terrible Widnes side, remember Sean Long playing for them. Bit of stability might do Miller some good, poor lad's played under 4 different coaches in the last year or so.

Bit of a ridiculous thread TBH, how can you say miller should go after half a season, maybe just under half, and 2 PSFs, his kicking game against bradford was subpar, but he needs his time to establish a partnership, cant stand it when people have a go at younger players, telling them, they need to go, after a short amount of time.

At least Seymour played the first game of last season at Headingley before being scapegoated and dropped.

Let wait and see how players go.It's going to take a few games before we see the players gelling.Most of the player haven't played in the same team and that needs time to get to know one another s play.

Rediculous opening post, I was expecting to read a Visa issue or home sick. The kid will only get better, poor kicking yesterday but no points at stake. He also knows that he will be dropped if he doesn't perform. Expect Horne to start the season in the halves and Radders has already indicated that he couuldl play Azza there (although personally I would just keep Azza for spelling Houghton)
