That was the press conference. The reason the questions dropped out is because the Humberside mic was nowhere near Smailes and the others asking questions.

Wonder if it has anything to do with the interview they ran with mike ford?

RH have never been positive advocates of ours. Contrast Burnsy and Swanny's giddiness about City, and Lloyd's cosy relationship with Hudgell (ringing him at home of an evening) with the lack of warmth towards us. Remember Lloyd saying we should be apoplectic with rage about letting Luke Briscoe go, but can't recall any counterbalance that we should therefore be intoxicated by the development of Lineham and Crooks.



I don't think we always help ourselves here, seem to be a bit controlling with our communications. But that said, we've done better this year than last, same league position, a play-off win, but a major final on top. The absence of positive coverage, given as well that our youth development has brought through 2 Dream Team backs and some international U16s, is inappropriate IMO. Layer on Lee Richardson tweeting that FC fans are being "flannelled" by management's "horse" amongst many negative comments about our club (little chance vs Cats or Wire in the cup, won't win another game after Wembley etc), players and coach, I guess they've had enough for a while.

And we all know where Lee Richardson's loyalties lie

Turned on Blunderside as we got back to the car. Most of the first 30 seconds was "dead air" time as Gwilym(? I presume) was in the press conference. Heard only part of the conversations/responses. Gwilym put no effort or interest into his questions to Gentle. Seemed annoyed we had won. If that is the product on offer than we are not missing anything at all by switching off. Amateurs.

I don't think humberside is that bad, it's just lloyd. hopefully next season they will put mike white on the rl and let lloyd do sports bulletins on breakfast.

In contrast, I was driving to London to work and listened to HKR v London on BBC london and actually enjoyed it. The two commentators seem to have a good knowledge of the players from both sides and both had young players playing.



They saw things in the game the ref missed from both sides and came across excited about the play and it was a joy to listen too, well HKR did lose so it would but then on the other coin you have humberside.



No comparison between the two at all.

listened to the match on my laptop up here in jockland,and thought the doc gave the best commentry i`ve heard.thoroughly enjoyed it,and before anyone says it,yes i`m easy pleased.

I read those Lee Richardson tweets and I don't expect Adam Pearson was that impressed at all, bit unprofessional and biased for the BBC!
