Its a shame for the lad. Looked like a freak injury, no-one's fault. But we coped without Shaun Briscoe in 2005 so I guess we'll manage without him.

With three fixtures as a warm up, do we think that Shaul should be considered for the final?



I would like to put Whiting straight in there after his performance on Sunday but that takes him out of being a utility player from the bench.

Shaul will get some game time in the coming weeks but I would be nervous if he was our full back against Wigan.

Heard that Horne might be out for he season, although saw him at bev races yesterday and he was walking fine.



Shaul has a few games to prove he is ready.
