Lineham looking really good so far.

Reminds me of when Briscoe broke through. Looks an excellent player already. Strong and fast.

A little bit patchy, but Salford are a better side than they're given credit for by some IMO. Played some really good stuff at times, Lineham's doing well, and Houghton's pass for Westerman's try was sublime. Sidlow causing us trouble for them.

He's having a good game. Suppose it's hard to see all the tackles he's making on the radio, though.

Sorry, I didn't know being able to tackle made you a world beater.



He's done nothing in attack all season accept for the first few games, he's doing too many drop balls.

Hows he ref doing?

He's made a few errors but he's not terrible. He actually made the pass to Whiting last week for Briscoe's try, and he's scored a few good tries himself this year. He's generally decent in defence, too.



He's given away a fair few penalties this year but so have the rest of the squad so he shouldn't be singled out for that fact.



The thing is, if he has a great last 20 minutes of this game I expect you to be bending over for the guy. Last week you were proclaiming (in all caps) that Hull FC were an embarrassment, but by the end of the game you were loving it.

Westerman is just not good enough, at the moment at least.



I hope he has a fantastic preseason for next season, and comes out next season all guns blazing.



Maybe I'm basing my point of view with regards to the fee that come with him!
