The players who have been 'outed' as not being good enough have two options:



1. Sulk and toss it off for the rest of the season.

2. Knuckle down and try and prove AP wrong.



Any player that chooses option 1 I wouldn't want here anyway.

Agreed.



He is a good player but we should - and thankfully are - aiming higher.



Hopefully he is professional enough to put in the effort for the rest of the season.

Think that’s a bit harsh. He has been playing behind a beaten pack nearly every week. When our pack was strong early in the season, I thought he played well. His short kicking game was very good and he chipped in with a few tries too. I wasn’t aware either that he has agreed to an early termination of his contract? I think he will be here next year.



Just watched the interview on Hull FC TV, what an inspiring chairman we have. He seemed angry and fired up, if our players could show that level of passion and commitment we wouldn’t go far wrong. I’ve noticed he’s stopped pleading with the fans to return to the KC and has finally realised that will only happen when he has a decent team worthy of attracting those fans back. Five years of going to watch crap week in and week out and we still get 11k + is a testament to the loyalty of the fans if you ask me.



Out of interest, if we do get the top 2 team we are being promised, what do people think our average attendance will be?

It wasn't at all harsh. I've not said he's a bad player, just that he's no good enough for a top team. It seems that Gentle must agree on that score, or we wouldn't be trying to bring in two new halfbacks for 2013.

If Seymour was playing 7 at Wigan / Warrington this year i think you would find both would still be a top team. Not had much of a chance for me. But if we get a better player in then fair enough.

Tad harsh on seymour before last few games think hes done ok in a struggling team. Just his wage another problem

Bit harsh on Seymour who was playing well at start of season when the pack was firing and we was playing well.Then all the news comes out about players leaving and nearly all of them are counting down towards end of season.



As for players coming in...all internationals AP said and who is the 4th half-back...we are all assuming Chase,Brough,Holdsworth but who is other? Myler?Witt?Gower?

Question for some of the older fans have we ever had a Chairman since Roy who could and would talk like that.



I am surprised by his resolute forthright delivery and his wanting. Pearson has a big reputation in this City and its one that he values, he has to deliver on what he has said and he knows it! He's under the spotlight now and Hudge Allam and Co will be waiting for him to slip up and yet he says all that! He has obviously lost patience and feels he has a point to prove I can see the reasonng behind the September release of names, he must have some confidence in who they have signed and 10 is a lot!!! If he didn't have confidence he would have saved todays rant for then, to try and sell tickets. He's a decent bloke I think and of all the claims of Jam tomorrow we have heard over the years this is turning into the most credible!

He's been ok overall, but no more than that. Even in his better games, he's never looked anything like top class. Chase plays in a sh*te side every week, and still looks much better than Seymour.

Glad to see him confirm it's 10 players total and not the 6 or 8 that was being bandied about.

Both different players though....Seymour was organiser and main playmaker as he didnt trust Horne (or so it seems).
