| For Wigan to brush aside the world champions like that was awesome.
Funny too.

| Quote Mrs Barista="Mrs Barista"Sam Tomkins is ridiculous. At 23 he should get himself to the NRL. Pointless for him to be in this competition, would love to see him have a go over there. What's he going to learn here? Certainly not humility, he's simply too good.'"
Someone somewhere must be paying him shedloads of cash. He'd be a worldwide celebrity if he'd followed his brother to union and a multi millionaire to boot

[uFunny too[/u.'"
It certainly was, at the beginning of the season their fans were their usual cocky selves bragging about where in the league they should win the G/Final from this year...suppose it may help if they actually make the 8 and unless they improve drastically they may not even achieve that

| Could compare Tomkins to Slater now and not get laughed at,
Gelling seems to be doing ok and Charnley's kicking is decent too but how good will they be with a match fit Richards back?

| Quote Dave K.="Dave K."Big game on Sunday, if we win we will be 5 points above Leeds, and they play Warrington away next week (us Wakey).
Also one point behind Catalans, if we can concentrate a bit more I think we have a real chance of finishing in the top 4.
Also on the game Wigan were outstanding (Tompkins in particular, best player in SL by a mile) and Leeds pretty awful. Carrying too many average players.'"
And Le Cats play Wigan + would put us 3 clear of Sts.
A very big game.
Who would of thought before the season started, we would be looking at results for Leeds, Cats and Sts. Last few seasons, we were looking at the results of Bradford, Cas, Salford and the like.
Just shows (even after last weekend ) how we have improved and how the fans confidence has been (mostly) restored.
I cant remember the last time we went into a game against a big team and I felt like we could win, but I do about tomorrow.

| Tomkins, Hock, Charnley and Finch get majority of the praise but Mike McIllorum has gone from a player who I thought was pretty average to been behind Roby for best hookers in the league in my eyes. Physically he looks massive and puts himself about big time in defence plus he is playing 80 minutes and showing no fatigue in his work rate or passing accuracy.

| Agree, when you've got McIllorum in defense,it's like having an extra prop down the middle, really puts his shoulder in and hurts the attackers.

| The down side to Wigan being top of the league is the thought of Phil Clark gushing on about the cherry and whites.Liked Phil as a player but he goes completely over the top when he is talking about Wigan and churns out irrelevant facts and figures. At the moment they look invincible and it seems like we are going to have to turn the sound off more often. What with him and Paul Cullen, why use one word when you can use a hundred.

| Great performance from Wigan and Tomkins is simply sensational. Noticed Leeds go for the whole dirty tactics (and in particularly Bailey who only gets away with it because of one thing) though Wigan were more the match. They really are a great side.

| Unbelievable improvement shown by Tomkins this year.
They broke the bank last year to keep him, can't see any way he will stay in SL another year.
NRL or Union will double his money again. Quite thanful really cos it is his form above all others that is simply taking Wigan clear this year.
Leeds in disarray,love it !

| Wigan look unstopable at the moment, they have pace, power and flair.
Leeds look like we did under Agar some good (albeit aging) players who now look uninspired, clueless and have no 'planB' McDermott is lucky he won a Grand Final, as otherwise I think he'd be handed his P45
