Cooke was fantastic for us and he fitted well into our team and he and Horne were a very good partnership.

The only shame here is that the game didn't get to see the best of his abilities during what should have been his best years. I have no sympathy for him whatsoever.

Cooke regrets leaving Hull, despite what he says in the media. Anybody who knows him personally will tell you the same.
He's a good kid, just made some bad choices. Shame, he could of been an FC legend.

Correct, he has told plenty of people how much he regrets leaving Hull, if he could go back tomorrow he would. |

FTR though as a Rovers fan I will never regret signing him - IMO we'd be in the Championship now if it wasn't for Cooke. |

I can't believe people give him the credit they do......
Yes he was a very good player for us, but he was just an important part of a well performing team..... we may not have won the cup without Cooke but we needed 12 other people on the pitch at the time to play the match!! It's a TEAM game.
Or are you saying that Salford, Quins and such like would win the CC had Cooke been in there team...
He did well for us, Chapter finished.
He did well for Rovers (for one year, as did the rest of their squad), Chapter finished.
Career finished.
He's now just a nobody on the scrapheap. Good riddance, and FWIW he's not even a nice guy. Pr1ck to the core!!!
