Like most fans i was gutted when we handed our highly rated full-back to our nearest and bitterest rivals on a plate. But with the arrival of Tansey, i've finally come to terms with that and think we now probably have the better player. Time will tell but he certainly made an impressive start to his FC career.

Tansey is more in the mould of webb at leeds. Briscoe is solid and his support play is good, however he doesn't off the same threat as tansey does

Tansey will prove to be a great acquisition by the club.

A modern day athletic full back, who has his best years in front of him.

Was underwhelmed by the Tansey signing at first, but after his performances at the end of the season, he looks a great signing. Got potential to be a top class full back. However, I think Briscoe is the better player at the moment, but not for long.

both very different players to compare, would you have someone who may score a few tries but isnt that safe under the high ball or someone who gives the side that confidence that there as safe as houses at the back but doesnt score that many?

Tansey is exicting going forward ill give him that but he aint gonna stop Palleasena over his own try line like Briscoe did is he?

Tansey is very much like a lot of NRL fullbacks, and if he keeps developing like he has he'll be England #1 no doubt.
