FWIW I agree and would keep Hall at left centre with Yeaman right to start with knowing that both Turner and =#000040Whiting are close behind looking for their place in the team...'"
Whiting impressed me today. Even showed a couple of bursts of speed! Yeamon seemed to have a point to prove as well.

| Was at work today so couldn't go (pah, part timer), but based on what I saw last week and what I've been told from today I would go for the following against Saints:
1. Tansey
2. Calderwood
3. Yeaman
4. Hall
5. Briscoe
6. Horne
7. Long
8. Dowes
9. Berrigan
10. Radford
11. Manu
12. Fitzgibbon
13. Washbrook
14. O'Meley
15. Moa
16. Houghton
17. Lauaki
Harsh on Turner but if Berrigan plays he will be lacking match fitness and may not be capable of 80 minutes. I also think that you need something a little special to beat Saints and Craig Hall is the kind of player who can provide it. However if there is any doubt over Horne's shoulder I'd put Turner straight in at 6.
I'm a big Cusack fan but Radford had a great derby and Dowes also edged him in the derby and by all accounts had a good game today, you've got to go with form. Whiting has performed well in the friendlys but will always be a reliable cover player imo, not first choice in any position.

Good bench, that. Washy's not done enough for me yet and think Agar will go for Fitz at 13 and either Burnett/Tickle plus Manu as the back 3.
Personally not sure about the centres. Thought Whiting and Turner were better last week than this, haven't seen much of Hall yet, so any one of these 3 to partner Yeaman.

Having watched both games I reckon Tansey will go in at 6 if Horne doesn't make it. Didn't think Turner was great there today and Tansey looks more creative. Not saying it's always going to be that way but on current form I think Whiting would go in at FB at Tansey to 6. As for the Turner/Hall dilemma at centre it's a really close call. My feeling is that Turner is just ahead on current form in that position and will get the shout. Yeaman looked decent today while he was on and credit to him put Lyne away for his try.

Me too. Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of banter and if we lose and they win it wazzes me off for a while but I would never put the amount of effort into them that some seem to do!!!
FC are my team and they are where my time and energy are placed.
