As usual, we are just average and I am being generous when I say that.

The table doesn't lie. We are an average side. Although tonight I think we've fallen short of even that standard TBH.

We didn't concede 50 points at home.

Remote control has a button to change the channel. That was definitely a positive.

We are an around eighth placed team and most people know that. We played ok tonight but quite simply better organisation, better physicality and better coaching beat us tonight. Weve reached our level plain and simple

That would be my summary of the game tbh. I've seen some terrible performances over the last couple of years, that wasn't one of them. No we weren't great, but we would have competed with a lot of sides with that performance and beaten a few of them. Wigan were very good and showed the standards we need to aspire to.

we will finish 7 or 8 which is where we are imo , hopefully get these new players in and next year improve ,well that's the idea

Back down to earth for us and the team. Our aim from here is tbh to simply finish higher than we do at the break up point so if we finish 7th this round then anything better than that at play off point would show improvement. Not very exciting but thats where we are

Tonight showed how far behind the top 4 we are, too slow, awful passing skills and even the defence looked fragile. Happy we got in the 8, but it's going to be a long summer if we play like that.
