Seems, from that report, that the contract was offered, neither party has actually signed, McD agreed it, thinks FC agreed it and then a new coach decided not to follow it up.



As a renowned barrack room lawyer, I don't think he has a leg to stand on. Offering a contract and signing a contract are two different things. If only one party agrees, that can't be binding, surely?

Wasn't his extended contract a parting gift to the club from his Uncle Pete?
