there's a danger we could pull in less than 10k for a league fixture for the first time since god knows when. can't see a bigger crowd than the one against widnes after that dross, and there will be no boost from away supporters. when was the last sub 10k crowd?

Apparently crowd against Widnes included all pass holders wether they attended or not....so a sub 10k already achieved.



By the time we play Salford in the cup, special (never to be offered again!) prices may well boost it to around 8k.

As an ex turnstile operator of 16 years I can tell you that only people who physically came through the turnstiles are counted. They are not allowed to announce otherwise due to health and safety. I know this as we used to pass our meter readings to the announcer at every game and it always tallied with what we had.

Sure we had a couple of well below 10K crowds just before the cup in 2005.

I know supporters who attended and can judge attendances against alleged official attendance figures.



In the Boulevard years was the best ever fantasy figures ever...albeit going the other way (downwards).

Looking at the slstats page on here, by my reckoning tonight would be 100 league games without a sub 10000 crowd, although I may have miscalculated. Our last was in 2006.
