When wire re-sign a stack of players way past their best, wigan pay fees for matty smith and blake green and clubs are fighting over amor, you know there is a dearth of quality around. We just have to pick up who we can and be beter next year than this. Anyone expecting us to become the best team in the league in one closed season is deluding themselves.

Agreed. I would also rather sign noone than give 2 or 3 year deals to our "second or third choices"

I don't think I've read anyone say anything about being the best team in the league!!! I've said top 4 is a realistic target.



We have a squad of very good players that I'm happy with, the only thing that would really top this is to have a top half back I.e. Chase and a Bone Crunching hard hitting prop.

if im honest i can see us gaining a place maybe 5th or at best 4th next year we have lost 2 real quality forwards in manu and moa ,manu been the most destructive backrow in SL and just carnt see anyone replacing him even ellis who is a wonderful player but not the offensive player manu is . I think the most important step we can take is getting the backroom physio and conditioning right and keeping players on the field, that way we keep our consistancy week in week out



if we can get chase and add a quality full back with loads of pace and good link, and another real quality forward to bolster the pack then we may have a very good team capable of chalenging the top 3

On Jonno hes been great for Wakefield last season he was super in a team of in experience, this season hes been hit and miss if I am honest and has been behind Amor, Wilkes and Raleigh in the prop stakes. hes a top lad and hope he goes well for you but he needs to step up again now to be anywhere near a first team regular.
