Great debut. Showed pace, strength and confidence. One for the future for sure.

Very good player with a good Rugby brain. Showed a lot of pace today and manned up when needed.

When Horne and Crooks(will he be?) are fit I'd go with;

1. Horne

2.Lineham

3.Yeamo

4.Crooks

5.Briscoe



Turner can play in the back row, or sod off for me

I was raving about him well before he made his debut. His break were I think he actually out paced Broughton was brilliant just a shame Salfords best player for them today was there to stop him (Patten). His second big run was a brilliant kick return were he made a half clean break and was awarded the penalty, and his second try took some scoring. Turner was pretty average again overall and still shot out the line a few times. Really not d about him anymore, Saints are welcome to him.



Next season I would be happy with:



1. Horne (if he can stay fit)

2. Lineham

3.Yeaman

4. Crooks

5. Briscoe



I wonder if Gentle is toying with the idea of using Briscoe as first choice fullback from next season and go with Crookes and Lineham wingers along with another winger been brought in too? Long shot I know and would also mean Horne is utility or leaves/retires. Can't see it but it is an option.

Crooks isnt a winger and you could see the difference today, dont get me wrong i love Crooks as a player, would be good to see him paired with Briscoe and Yeaman with Lineham (before we chuck Arundel into the mix too)

Very strong at returning the ball. Always pokes his nose through the tackle.

Crooks isn't a winger I know that, but Jason CrookEs is...

Really impressed with Lineham again today, strong and very quick.



What is his contract situation?

Like I said, put Yeaman with Lineham and Crooks inside of Briscoe.



That's what I would like to see or Arundel over Crooks for the time been, give Crooks awhile longer to get used to playing SL week in week out.



Hopefully if Crookes does difinitely sign for us, he will be third choice behind Lineham and Briscoe.
