these 2 have taken a bit of flack this year but imo today played really well, Shaul looked comfy in the extra pivot and Griffin apart from a couple of errors imo was immense taking the ball up making yards every carry,Well done fc great win with 12 men, COYH

Wish Shaul would stop trying to kick through and chase on the 3rd tackle when the play breaks down. It very rarely comes off, and we were a man down and camped on Rovers line. Just play the set out and aim for a drop out or something.

But other than that yeah I agree him and Griffin were very strong today. Think the offload late on from Griffin that went to ground was a good play. The pass was definitely on and if it came off would have been a try (Connor was streaming outside of Kelly). Good game by both of them in my opinion

As said before I believe Griffin was suffering an injury most of last season and playing with injections. His stride is something else.

He's got an error in him but with the ball he's been very strong this season.

Griffin was excellent. Got us out of trouble time after time when the forwards were struggling to get it off our line. Did a solid defensive job in difficult circumstances aswell.

You could point to Griffin's poor pass to Kelly when we didn't need to try anything flash but all in all he more than played his part in the win.

Mentioned that one in my post above. Watched the game in pub and there were a lot of complaints about that pass, but in my opinion it was definitely on. Nothing really wrong with the pass, could be maiy argued that Kelly just overran it a little. But if it came off,with Connor running outside of Key it was a likely try and game firmly secured. Im happy to see us chance our arm like that, especially with a 2 try cushion

Shaul – Has incredible attacking flair but have serious doubts on defence.

He’s had this since youth as he was a smaller kid and it was hard for him.

But just look and you’ll see exactly what I mean. Then look at the Dragon’s tries from last week. Many tries from last season. Watch the attempt at 14.25 and you'll see exactly my point and why he needs 5kg extra on him.
